What causes anxiety attacks is a physiological reason. Your mind is so filled up with problems, and worries. You can’t stop your mind from thinking about all of these things, its something most people can’t control. Our brains may be faster than any computer, and hold more information than any computer, but it can have errors. This doesn’t make you any different from a normal person. You just cope with anxiety and stress in a difficult way. There are many different types. Because different things stress people out, so there are different types of stress and anxiety. You could get stressed from too much school work, your physical appearance, or even small things like being late to class, or making a bad grade. Even if there is nothing stressing you out at the moment, there could be something that your mind can’t get off of, like a bad situation a few days before the attack, yet, your mind is completely unaware its not happening right then, otherwise is is aware whatever happened could happen again. I have had anxiety attacks my whole life. Doctors will tell you prozac and medications help, but I prefer a different way of relaxation. Buy a meditation CD. I would recommend listening to it in the dark, quiet of the night. And PLEASE talk to your parents, they can really help you.
